This is a dark theme inspired by the desert theme. I wanted the subtlety of the desert theme with more vibrant colors and more obvious difference between variables, strings, numbers, separators, operators, etc.
After I got the colors just right it reminded me of a monster. Hence the name.
Amazing! Only need two changes to use with Java, but that’s nothing. Thank you!

fantastic theme! It’s really easy to read and not so hard on the eyes to look at all day.
Excellent theme.
One comment though, the Diff view doesn’t seem to be optimized for this theme. The left side of the view windows is pratically all painted in pink and the highlighted code on the right is all green and you cannot read the text properly.
It would be great if that can be fixed.

When I’m debugging, the green highlighting of the current program counter line makes the source unreadable. Is there a way to update the theme fix this? I love it otherwise.
i love this theme soo much but i cant download the file it says an error..can i still be able to have a copy of this theme?
The download links do not work. The link is currently http://netbeansthemes.com/monster/ so the $download var isn’t rendered. Maybe some php configuration problems (short_open_tag?).

I have had issues using this and other themes created in 7.2 and below in versions of Netbeans 7.3+. I have updated this to work with 7.3+, here is a link in case anyone is interested.

The css colors are not that nice. The property colors are impossible to see.
